With a PondCMS subscription you can email or call us with questions that you have about the service.  We don't have a call center, but as part of our support service you have access to expert staff.

Monitoring

Our service has a number of software based monitoring tools that both ensure that your site remains up and responsive as well as alerting us proactively should any errors occur while someone is using the site.

Upgrades and software maintenance

This part of our service is really about addressing the longer term plan for your website. As part of our service we provide regular upgrades to the core Plone software. 

That means when there are new features, bug fixes, or speed enhancements available for Plone, we will upgrade your site for you.

This keeps your system from becoming outdated, or stranded on an old version that is no longer compatible with emerging website technologies.

We have put together this bundled version of hosting, support and maintenance based on what we think is in the best interest of our clients. Eventually you will need support, or assistance with upgrades so our strategy is to build in these eventual costs up front.

You may be able to find less expensive hosting for Plone, but at the lower commodity pricing, the provider will ensure that the site is up and running, but will not allocate any additional resources for support or assistance.

Of course, you can purchase ad-hoc support,  but any assistance would have to be billed at a high consulting rate which may end up costing you more in the long run.
