What You Will Learn

Whether you are a designer, a system administrator, or a developer, you can benefit from Jazkarta's Developer Training.

  • How to build a customized Plone skin to change the look'n'feel of your Plone site. Starting out with Photoshop mockups, we will create templates and CSS, and ultimately an installable product.
  • Best practices for hosting your Plone/Zope site. Learn infrastructure design for scalability and fault tolerance, Zeo and pound for load balancing and high availability, Squid and CacheFu for caching, logging/monitoring, database packing, backups and writing command line scripts.
  • How to build your own customized products for Plone. We will learn about Archetypes, form controller, debugging, ArchGenXML and developing products using the latest Zope 3 technologies.
  • How to make your Plone site bilingual or multilingual using LinguaPlone.
