June 17, 2006. Workshop conducted at the Grassroots Use of Technology Conference in Cambridge, MA. Transform your website into a dynamic online community with online member registration, discussion forums, blogs, wikis, events calendar, RSS syndication and podcasting. We will take a close look at Plone, the open source content management system, and how non-profit and grassroots organizations can leverage this powerful system to build communities and drive more traffic to their site. Oxfam America will demo their Plone-based websites and discuss how they are engaging their communities on the web, through the use of podcasting and calendaring/event registration tools.
