Jazkarta offering "Getting Started With Plone" series
An introductory class intended for our PondCMS customers, or anyone who wants to learn how to manage content with the open source Plone CMS.
Jazkarta is pleased to announce Getting Started with Plone, a monthly series of half day classes to help new users get started creating and managing websites with Plone. Topics will include:
- Authoring and editing web pages
- Effectively using Plone's content types
- Organizing content
- Using collections and smart portlets
We will provide a demonstration Plone site that students will be able to log into. Class exercises will provide hands on experience creating, editing, and managing content. Students will get a running start by being guided through their initial encounter with Plone.
These classes are free to Jazkarta's PondCMS clients. Students who have paid for the class and later become a PondCMS customer will get the class registration fee discounted from their PondCMS price.
This class will be taught by Sally Kleinfeldt at Jazkarta's offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the first Thursday of every month. The first class will be held March 5, 2009. Sign up today as there are limited spaces available!
